We’re a small Welsh mushroom company based in Wrexham.

It started with growing mushrooms at home. Then came the reading, the experimenting, the chemistry, the history and an increasingly unreasonable amount of time spent thinking about fungi.

One question led to another, and somewhere along the way Ffyngau was born.

There’s an enormous amount to get stuck into. The biology, the chemistry, the extraordinary variety of species, the relationship between fungi and the world around us, and the ways people have used them throughout history.

Then there’s the research. Laboratory experiments, clinical trials, new discoveries and plenty of questions still waiting for answers.
